A bureaucrat by day,
a student of the stars by lamplight.

Abhishek Shrivastava
For thirty-four years, Abhishek Shrivastava served the Government of Jharkhand in senior administrative roles — beginning as a probationary officer in 1990 and retiring as a Joint Secretary in 2024. Across districts and ministries, his reputation was for the same quiet competence that defines his consulting practice today.
In parallel, and quite separately, he kept a forty-year practice of classical Jyotish and Vaastu Shastra. He took initiation from his guru in Varanasi in 1986 and has read continuously since — Bhrigu Samhita, Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Jaimini Sutras, Mayamatam, Manasara. The two careers never overlapped: clients knew him only as an astrologer and Vedic Vaastu Sthapati; subordinates knew him only as an officer.
Since retirement, he has practiced full-time from his home office in Old A.G. Colony, Kadru, Ranchi — and online for clients abroad. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Patna University, Patna, and the Vastu Shiromani Certificate from V.V.H., New Delhi.
A long, quiet apprenticeship.
The classical method is not learnt in a season. Abhishek Shrivastava's training has been continuous since 1986 — under guru, through text, and through practice.

Four commitments we hold to.
Confidentiality
What is said in a sitting stays in the sitting. We do not share names, charts, or details with anyone — including future clients seeking testimonials.
Plainness
We avoid jargon where plain English will do, and we explain the Sanskrit when we use it. The point is for you to understand, not to be impressed.
Restraint
We do not predict death, irreversible disease, or other outcomes that have no remedy and only fear. The chart shows weather; we tell you about the weather.
No Selling
We do not sell gemstones, yantras, or pujas. Where a remedy is recommended, we tell you what to look for and where independent practitioners can be found.
